These days the British introduced to the world some more details about the new Aston Martin AM-RB 001. The Hypercar that the British develop along with Red Bull Racing will achieve a speed over 250 miles per hour. And with these numbers, we can say that this car is already entering the territory of Bugatti. Also, in the meantime, the planned series of 150 examples has been sold out.
The data for the future hypercar Aston Martin that will appear early in 2019 are already known. The car with the initials of the two partners and the seed number 001 will achieve a ratio of 1:1 between the power and the weight. That means that the “speculated” 1.300 hp of the AM-RB 001 will face with only 1.300 kg, which is about 40% less if you compared to the actual Formula 1 cars or the same as Koenigsegg One:1.
No steel parts will be fitted in the AM-RB 001
From this ratio, the performance of the AM-RB 001 could already be assumed, but the chief Marek Reichman now officially confirmed in an interview with Australian Motoring that the car will reach 250 miles per hour. The power for this will be delivered by the atmospheric V12 engine, and also there will be an electric motor.
According to the head of Aston Martin, in the car will dominate the materials such as carbon, but not even one piece of steel. A new detail revealed by the chief Marek Reichman is that the hypercar AM-RB 001 will be very easy to drive and is made for everyday use
This will certainly not affect the decision of the buyers because all planned 150 copies of the hypercar are already sold out, even before the first prototypes appear on the asphalt, and more than two years before the vehicles are delivered to their owners. In the same time, 25 “racing” cars will be produced, which will quite certainly drive in their own tracks, like it was the example of the McLaren P1 GTR.
