In Shanghai, BMW unveiled the new BMW M4 CS, which will fill the gap between the BMW M4 Competition and the BMW M4 GTS.
Although BMW has not released the volume of production, it is believed that the same as GTS, BMW M4 CS will be produced in limited numbers because the German brand will produce a special version only in the middle of the next year. Given that the production of the BMW GTS is already completed, BMW CS is currently the most powerful in the range of BMW M4 manufacturer.

BMW also used a few “tips” from GTS to reduce the weight of BMW CS, so, the roof, the tailgate spoiler, the diffuser and the front splitter are all made of plastic reinforced with carbon fibers. In addition, embedded and lighter trim on the doors. All this results in the removal of 32 kg of the total weight of the M4.
Greater strength and reduced weight in cooperation with a 7-stage automatic transmission with double clutch BMW M4 CS accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the BMW M4 Competition Package. The top speed will be electronically limited to 280 km / h. According to the BMW factory, the model set a time of 7 minutes and 38 seconds on the Nurburgring.
This model also includes optional six-piston front and four-piston rear paws with carbon-ceramic brake. The vehicle is set on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels. The price of the model in Germany will start at 116.000 euros or 40.000 euros more than the standard BMW M4 Coupe which is 76.000 euros.
