Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are returning to Amazon Prime in October, for the second season of The Grand Tour, which will remain a high budget but at the same time will undergo some changes.
According to the modest statement of James May in an interview with The One Show on BBC, the new season will be just as expensive as the previous one: with a lot of traveling, a great crew, a lot of technology and 4K video resolution. He also revealed that the show will generally remain the same, but will undergo some changes which he wouldn’t disclose for now.
We will see soon, what exactly they prepare for us to be seen in the first episode in October. In the first season, there were segments that were criticized by some viewers such as the American, who was the opposite version of humorously mysterious Stig. Also, the part of “killing” the celebrities quickly became tedious, although it was created to mock the prohibitions set by the legal department of the BBC.
We sincerely hope that the directors of The Grand Tour will listen to constructive criticism viewers and replace them with more interesting segments, which would have made this show equally exciting as the best episodes of Top Gear.
